Owners/Managers - Denzil & Kate Travers

Denzil & Kate are the owner operators of Waikiwi Gardens Rest Home. They have 10 years experience owning and running rest homes in South Canterbury and Southland. They are proud to say they are now the only remaining owner/operators of a rest home in Invercargill.

Assistant Manager - Carly Thomson

Carly our assistant manager is an invaluable part of our team. She's always ready and willing to help out and is great with all our residents and families. 

Office - Jenni Go

Jenni completes our office team, she manages all the finances and helps out with the day to day operations.

Our Nurses

Our RNs bring a variety of knowledge to our facility. They take pride in their passion for the elderly and ensuring our residents are well and happy.

Care givers

We have a number of exceptional care givers whose number one priority and passion is for the well-being of our residents. They provide around the clock care and always come to work with a smile and a big heart ready to help.

Cooks

Our cooks bring a huge amount of energy, experience and passion to the kitchen. Their home baking and cooking is second to none.

Activities

Our activities coordinator runs an excellent programme of activities designed to stimulate our residents and above all else ensure they are having fun!

Laundry/Housekeeping/Maintenance

Behind the scenes we fortunate to have an exceptional team beavering away keeping our home clean and tidy and operating as it should.
